I am not a writer nor an editor. I do not work in the publishing field in anyway. I am just an avid reader and book lover who has had a life-long love affair with literature and feel the need to regale others with it now.
I choose books based on cover art, subject matter, author, reviews, brief description - anything really. If it has something that grabs my attention, I'm sold. I cannot enter any shop that sells books and not walk out with at least one. I love everything about physical books - appearance, weight, scent - and feel slightly guilty that I find myself also loving my iPhone's Kindle so much. Anything that allows me to read more can't be bad, though, right?
I have the bad habit of reading several books at the same time and finishing none in a timely manner. I'm working on it. My plan is to read one book at a time, allowing one hour every morning and perhaps some time at night, if I'm not too sleepy. I will then report back to you here. I'll also reviews books I've already read, discuss books I hope to read, books I wonder if I should read, etc. Grab your spectacles and mug of favorite joe and read along with me.
